Rhiannon shares a message with the network about our latest team developments.

“I’ve been part of the team here at The Touring Network for eight years now, and in that time I have seen the network grow from strength to strength, with you – our members – achieving amazing things with very little resources, but a huge drive and passion to bring remarkable performances to the nooks and crannies of our corner of Scotland. This past year has, of course, been the toughest we’ve all faced, and the lack of live performance and culture in our communities has been really difficult to bear at times. However, with the hint of spring now in the air, and a glimmer of hope that this summer might see some semblance of normality, it’s exciting to think that live in-person events will return in the not too distant future.

For me personally, I’ll be taking a temporary break from my role at The Touring Network this year, as I prepare to welcome two tiny humans in to the world! I’m leaving you all in the extremely capable hands of Claire, Bronwen, Geoff, and our new recruit Teri, and have no doubts at all that they will be here to support you through this next chapter. I’ll be watching from the sidelines too (when I can!) and look forward to witnessing the buzz of live performance return to the Highlands and Islands!”
