Directed by Malcolm Edmonstone and Andrew Bain, and featuring soloist Gordon McNeil on saxophone, NYJOS will recreate the magic of multi Grammy award winner Michael Brecker. The groundbreaking repertoire will offer performers and audiences alike an insight into one of the most influential tenor saxophonists of all time and true greats of the jazz world.

Brecker has inspired jazz musicians in a way like few others. Since early beginnings in a musical home, he went on to enjoy an illustrious international career as a soloist, sideman and composer. His innovative and evolutionary style covered a wide range of genres, including jazz, R&B, funk, rock and pop, and led him to form numerous partnerships with many world-renowned musicians.
