Calum MacKaskill
Alongside developing this original EP, Calum has performed with a wide range of artists and ensembles, including Celtic Worship, Glraich, The Amber Thornley Trio, Face the West, The Argyll Ceilidh Trail, Rhythm of the Dance, Oban Pipe Band, and Boghall and Bathgate Caledonia Pipe Band, among others.

Calum draws deeply from the Highland piping and whistle traditions he was raised in. A graduate of Plockton Music School, Calum went on to study at West Highland College in Fort William before continuing his musical and cultural education at Sabhal Mr Ostaig on Skye, where he also learned Scottish Gaelic. These influences are reflected in his writing, which carries a strong sense of place, language, and Highland musical identity.
