The Banana Sessions

The Banana sessions are a Scottish three-piece, each with their own unique musical style and wild imagination. The band formed in 2005 and soon became known for their unique style of pop music with heavy folk and jazz influences. In the ten years that they’ve been together, they’ve played blazing live shows across the uk: recoded two EP’s- yellow EP and the Green EP_ and their debut album, Mixtape. 2015 sees the release of their long-awaited second album, Be Bold and Brilliant.

Their reputable shows have gained them recognition across the uk, but they’ve also managed to make an impression worldwide with their famous ‘prodigy medley’, which has reached over 300,000 hits (and counting) on YouTube and was posted by The Prodigy themselves on their own website. In the words of Liam Howlett himself, ‘These guys are really cool. I dig them’.

To celebrate their 10 year anniversary, The Banana Sessions have launched a crowd funder to fund the release of ‘Be Bold and Brilliant’ and take their new sound on a UK tour in December. We have the pleasure of their company as they are a fantastic band and are certainly one to watch.
