The Nordic Fiddlers Bloc

Olav Luksengard Mielva (Norway), Anders Hall (Sweden) and Kevin Henderson (Shetland Isles) combine their individual styles to create an intense and invigorating sound.

Individually, these musicians are regarded as three of the finest young fiddle players of the international folk circuit, while collectively they are in demand across the world.

Norway, Sweden and Shetland have three of the richest fiddle traditions in the world. With historical links going back hundreds of years, Nordic Fiddler’s Bloc seek to ensure these links are kept alive with a dose of good humour and onstage banter.
