Fundraising: Make it Happen – 28th November 2pm-5pm

This workshop will focus on the fundamentals of fundraising for cultural groups and organisations.

Together we will explore the process of fundraising using the ‘seven steps’ which cover:

  • Who to ask for funding
  • How to ask for it
  • How to say thank you to your donors and supporters

The session will also look at how to develop an effective case for support for your project or organisation; what you should include and how to present it to potential supporters.

As this workshop is limited to 25 people, we ask that a maximum of 2 people per group sign up to enable a mix of groups and organisations to participate. Hand-outs will be provided at the session for you to share with other members of your group.

Following this workshop you are invited to attend the Cash for Culture Funding Fair immediately afterwards from 5.30pm-7.30pm, in the main room at Paisley Town Hall. Here you will find a range of funders, including The Big Lottery, Creative Scotland and the Heritage Lottery Fund, who will be on-hand to answer your questions and provide information about funding and support available.
