Supported by funding from Creative Scotland, the FST Assistant Director Bursary aims to nurture the professional development of individual artists by supporting a directorial attachment to an established theatre company in the UK or internationally. It operates as a partnership between the applicant and host organisation and applications must be jointly developed with the nature and responsibilities of the placement agreed prior to application submission. Successful applicants receive funding of a £350 stipend per week, including a contribution by the host organisation
