It’s all happening! How fantastic to see so many LIVE events programmed in the region this summer. We can’t wait to get out there and catch a few of them and hopefully have a chin wag with some of you along the way.

We’ll definitely be swinging high and free on All or Nothing’s The Swings, heading for Shetland Arts, Strathearn Arts, The Barn, Universal Hall, Eden Court, Lyth Arts Centre, SEALL, Nevis Centre, Rockfield and Dunoon Burgh Hall. Part performance, part installation, it all takes place on a magnificent, larger than life, five-metre high swing set. Weeeeeeeee!

If that sounds a bit too energetic, head over to Eden Court for some lawn lounging from July – September. Their summer festival, Under Canvas, is back – co-curated with Fèis Rois – with live music, performance and DJ sets.

SEALL has just announced its full summer programme on Skye, featuring Walking Theatre Company and Swallow the Sea; Lyth Arts is back in business, with local music and dance workshops and Dance North will be staging indoor and outdoor performances in Findhorn and across Moray.

Jura-based composer Giles Perring takes us on a musical journey in his new sound art project, The Exchange, at Dunoon Burgh Hall, and Tenterhooks will be stopping at Inverness on their Scottish tour of Mess – a playful show for young audiences with complex additional support needs.

[Whilst they’re not members] Pitlochry Festival Theatre’s outdoor season deserves a mention too – The Wind and The Willows looks dreamy set right on the banks of the River Tummel.

If you’re not quite ready for live events just yet, check out Vanishing Point and Brite Theatre’s unique take away show, Deliverance – a performance by you, about you. Enjoy wherever you are in the region, from the safety of your own home.

Don’t forget our Supported Programme collection is now available for booking through summer and beyond. Horse: Flying Solo, Nicolette MacLeod: The Sea and Me, NoLogo Productions: Make Up and Some Kind of Theatre: The Grandmother’s Grimm will all be coming to a venue near you.

And big congratulations to all members who received Creative Scotland’s Touring Fund. We’re looking forward to hearing more about confirmed dates and tours in the coming weeks.

Please continue to add all of your live events on Tourbook. Here’s a handy How To.
