Malcolm Sutherland

Based in Stirling

Dance

Born in Scotland, Malcolm trained at Central School of Ballet before joining Ballet Basel as an apprentice. From there, Malcolm spent 7 successful years with the Ballett Staatstheater Nürnberg, where he performed works from world renowned choreographers such as Pite, Naharin, Kylian, Ek.

As a choreographer he has created two full-length productions for the Tafelhalle. He created the piece "Greed" for the dance company of Theater St Gallen, Switzerland. He was recently a member of the Cohan Collective and has been awarded his MA Choreography with distinction from the University of Kent. He has previsouly been invited to create works for Interdans and Resolution festivals.
