We are delighted to announce a new membership structure for The Touring Network!
Our membership structure has been reframed so that your choice of of membership tier, and the fee you pay, is based on the services you require access to, rather than the size or location of your organisation, or whether you are a promoter, performer or member of the wider creative industry.
The changes were formally announced to our members at the AGM on 25th September at Eden Court. For an organisation who has been operating for over 20 years in some form, this is a significant milestone for us and will be the first change to the membership structure and pricing since 2013.
The decision to restructure followed a consultation period with the network, either in person or via surveys, in 2018 about member services; with the intention of understanding the different needs of members. It’s also a strategic move; ensuring we’re responding to the changes around us; whether that’s changes to other funding streams or the opportunity for promoters to access fully funded work through Creative Scotland’s new Touring Fund.
