We can reveal our Promoters’ Panel has selected the showcase performances for The Gathering. It was a tough call but we’re happy to say we have an enticing mix of theatre, music, dance and family performances for you.

Once again both performers and promoters also have the opportunity to have a ‘wee turn’ on our opening night. These are five minute slots to give members a flavour of your act or introduce your venue or community. If you’re interested please email fee@thetouringnetwork.com.

The Work Room is offering up to three free places for The Gathering in Dunkeld & Birnam this October. You must be a member of The Work Room and be able to demonstrate an interest in rural touring. Apply here

This year’s AGM will take place during The Gathering on Thu 5 October, 1.30pm-2pm.  We’ll be reflecting on activities and achievements from April 2022- March 2023, as well as giving an update on more recent activities and our plans for the year ahead. Open to all members of The Touring Network to attend in person or online. Any apologies can be sent to office@thtouringnetwork.com. Relevant papers will be shared online soon.

Next Network Meet-Up will take place online on Mon 25 September, 11am – 12.30pm. Elaine Allan, Head of Joint Ventures and Revenue Assurance at PRS for Music, will be joining us to answer all of your questions about public performance licensing. As always there will be time for chit chat and sharing too. Register here
