Hello and welcome to our new members Ali Burns, David Grubb, Dragon Song Productions, Mike McKenzie, Nick Fearne, Stitch Records and Dàire Moffat.
A reminder that our new Programming Pot is now live. It’s an open, rolling fund for promoters and programmers in the Highlands & Islands looking to book live performances. We have £20,000 to distribute this year, with awards of up to £750. Find out more.
Join us for extended Network Meet-Ups this April and May to learn all you need to know about safeguarding for the Scottish voluntary sector. Register here.
Are you happy with your Tourbook profile? If you haven’t checked it in a while, please can you have a squiz? Any info we share about members comes from here so it’s worth making sure it’s as good as it can be (good quality images are very helpful).
We’ve teamed up with Data Thistle to help members share events listings far and wide easily. If you submit your events via our form here they will magically appear in multiple places, including The List, Visit Scotland, regional press and on our own new website when launched (fingers crossed next month).
Our micro-network continues to go from strength to strength. Hot on the heels of Jasmin Vardimon touring Alice in VR Wonderland to Cromarty Arts, Nairn Community Centre, Resolis Arts, Applecross Village Hall, Ardross Village Hall and Eden Court, the crack team are bringing Stafford Collett’s comedy Gold! to their communities in May, followed by alt-rock band Frankie Morrow in June. See here for listings.
Congrats to the community on Isle of Kerrera who have completed renovations on the old school building and now have their very own beautiful community hub. Performers, bear them in mind! We can’t wait to visit.
Findhorn Bay is seeking a part-time Administrator to join the team. Apply here.
Members, don’t forget you can use our Access Fund to check out performances you wish to book. Performers and promoters can also apply to our Seed Fund in collaboration. Here’s a handy list of all of our members’ shows that are currently available to book.
