We’re excited to share that The Gathering will take place on Fri 9 & Sat 10 May 2025, in Strathpeffer. Strathpeffer Pavilion are looking forward to welcoming us, and we’re working with some wonderful local businesses to make it special. It will be crammed with live performances, networking, panel discussions, food, drink and dancing – we can’t wait! Booking opens on Mon 3 March. Performers, there will be a call-out for showcase performances in the coming weeks – check your emails and/or keep an eye on socials.
Thanks to everyone who took time to complete our annual survey – it’s very much appreciated. The winners of our prize draw are Dunoon Burgh Hall, EQ Dance Co – both to receive a £200 marketing budget boost – and Shetland Arts, who will attend a performance at Findhorn Bay Festival.
Findhorn Bay Festival has released its 2024 Festival Evaluation & Outcomes Report, marking the success of the 5th festival. Over 10 days, the festival saw 119 events, 10,565 attendances, 260 artists and an estimated £687,202 in local economic benefit. Well done all! Read more here.
Finally, I’m (Teri) going to be leaving The Touring Network in a few weeks and just wanted to say thanks so much to all you. It’s been a joy to work with this cheery little network for four years and I’ve loved getting to know so many of you. I’m so inspired by your enthusiasm and energy that I’m off to run an arts centre in Fife.
This of course means we’re looking for a new Communications Manager. Do you know a creative communicator who can help us celebrate and connect our network? Find out more here.
