Oceanallover (Director Alex Rigg) is a performance company based in South west Scotland, making outdoor performance for specific locations. Their work is visually arresting, making use of original and innovative costume design, gripping theatricality and evocative music to create emotional and memorable performance events.
Alex makes and designs the costumes for each project, which have a sculptural basis and draw the audience into a visceral and emotional experience.
The performance at Lunga House at the Spring Gathering on Saturday morning will be the first step in a new project Not to Scale, exploring ideas of electro magnetism and gravitational attraction. This project is inspired by the story of the Giant and the Mite by Eleanor Farjeon and will include a cast of 5 performers with additional musicians.
