The Big Shed has a lovely furnished live-in artist’s/craft/music studio to rent. Its available for £375 per month. The rent is inclusive of heating, lighting, water, electricity, gas and broadband. There’s a fully equipped kitchen with gas hob, oven fridge etc as well as pots, pan, plates, bowls cutlery mugs and glasses. There is also a shower room.
Ideally you’d stay for 1 – 6 months, but shorter (and longer term bookings) are also considered.
It is suited to artists working with clean media and the door heights make it unsuitable for artists creating works over 6ft.
A short drive from Stirling, Edinburgh and Glasgow, the Big Shed is a purpose-built, community-owned, environmentally-friendly building set in the beautiful Perthshire hills with views onto Loch Tay. It’s a truly inspirational setting with a sandy lochside beach, natural woodlands, waterfalls, large open spaces and wilderness. It is rich in flora, fauna and in archaeological heritage.
There are other creative artists living and working close by.
