Theatre in Schools Scotland (TISS) is an organisation whose vision aligns closely with The Touring Network; one where we are working towards every Scottish community, however small, has an essential and vibrant cultural life. TISS enables this to happen by presenting world class theatre and dance from a range of production companies to schools across Scotland. In an aim to closer align the value of experience of live performances and value of performing arts education within school, TISS has also worked to develop new teaching resources and programming considerations for schools to benefit from.
