The Aros Centre in Portree, on the Isle of Skye provides a multi-media platform for the arts,across theatre, visual art, photography, arts & crafts, dance as well as doubling as a cinema with a new, state-of-the art digital projector capable of screening live events from around the world as well as the latest blockbusters. A number of local arts societies are also supported by the Centre.
Located beside Loch Portree, The Aros Community Theatre is a cultural hub for Skye and Lochalsh, making connections with the surrounding communities, for entertainment, wellbeing and creativity.
We offer a huge variety of events from comedy, dance, music, opera, art exhibitions, talks and a year round cinema programme.
