Following Gordon’s departure in March, this month we welcomed Julia to the team as one of our new freelance associates.
Julia is a dance artist – performer, teacher, choreographer – based in Easter Ross and working with schools, community groups and arts organisations across the Highlands. Having worked as a Dance Associate with plan B dance company, and as a Dance Catalyst on the Highland wide bodycurrents programme, she has three years experience of working in rural communities on a wide variety of dance projects. Prior to moving to the Highlands, Julia worked as a performer and teacher across the UK for opera, dance theatre and independent choreographers.
Taking on an admin support role for The Touring Network, we’re sure that Julia’s will become a familiar voice for many of you.
