Welcome to The Touring Network. Thanks so much for joining.

By becoming a member, you have joined a network who believe that every community, however small, should have access to high quality performances. A network who believes in sharing their expertise, their ideas, their challenges and their successes.

The first thing we ask is that you take the time to read over the Terms and Conditions of your membership.

Get the most from your Touring Network membership

Attend events

Learn, share and network with the rural touring community in our region. We’ll email you invites to regular in-person and online events. This includes our annual flagship event, The Gathering. You’ll also receive an invite and voting rights for our AGM.

Access resources

Please access our range of resources for promoters and performers, available only to members.

Apply for funding

We have a range of funding programmes available for members to access. Please check your membership tier to find out which you are eligible to apply for.

Read the Noticeboard

You’ll receive our monthly email sharing news from The Touring Network and the wider sector. We recommend double checking your junk folder if you don’t start receiving emails from us, and let us know if you’re not receiving emails.

List your shows

Our What’s On listings page collates and showcases all the high-quality live performances taking place across our communities. We work with Data Thistle to automatically syndicate shows listed on here to key websites including The List and Visit Scotland, increasing your reach to an estimated 5 million viewers per month. We are able to automatically pull some member’s shows into the site. If your events aren’t showing automatically, you can easily add event details yourself. See our Listings Policy for further details.

Update your Member profile

Your profile will feature in the online Members’ Directory and Members’ Map, allowing you to showcase who you are and what you do. Use the Your Account section of our website to keep your profile in tip-top shape and up-to-date by adding photos and information to shine a spotlight on your work.

Join Tourbook

We always strongly encourage all our promoter and performer members to establish a profile on Tourbook, the marketplace and community for everyone involved in touring live cultural events. Tourbook allows performers to highlight tour-ready shows, and allows promoters to highlight their venue, tech spec and programming approach.

Help your colleagues to get the most from your Touring Network membership

If you’re the lead member of your account, you can extend the benefits of your Touring Network membership to your colleagues. Visit the Your Account area to add team members to your profile using the Sub-accounts tab, which allows them direct access to the Networks events, emails and resources.
