Award-winning A Giant on the Bridge is a powerful fusion of songwriting, Scottish hip-hop and immersive storytelling.
Hailed as “A work of art, and utterly charming” Lost In Theatreland, this unflinching and spellbinding gig theatre explores identity, family, community and injustice, revealing the intimate human experiences within the prison-homecoming journey.
Devised by Liam Hurley and Jo Mango, featuring Louis Abbott (Admiral Fallow), Raveloe, Solareye and Jill O’Sullivan. With research by Phil Crockett Thomas and developed with the Distant Voices Community – people from across the criminal justice system.
Age Guidance and content warning 14+ The show contains strong language and references to domestic violence, sexual violence/harassment, the effect of imprisonment, and mental health issues. Running time 80mins
