Adam Holmes and the Embers with Rachel Sermanni

TWO of Scotland’s leading young singer-songwriters, Adam Holmes and Rachel Sermanni, are returning to the islands in September.

Holmes and his band The Embers are touring their second album “Brighter Still”, released in June, while Sermanni will be joined by Orcadian pianist Jen Austin to perform material from “Tied to the Moon”, her second album which has been nominated for a SAY (ScottishAlbum of the Year) award.

Also appearing at Carnegie Hall, as a duo, will be two of Shetland’s finest singer-songwriters, Sheila Henderson and Freda Leask.
