Cat’s Club with Cathie Rae

Led by critically-acclaimed singer Cathie Rae, Cat’s Club features some of Scotland’s finest jazz musicians including Graeme Stephen on guitar, Paul Harrison on piano/organ and Brazilian bassist Mario Caribe.

Cathie’s music has been described as reminiscent of Nina Simone and Bill Withers. As she is from one Scotland’s biggest jazz dynasties, you can expect a nod towards the great jazz tradition too.

The band’s stunning 2013 album, Lucky, showcased an engaging mix of songs and styles, from the shimmers of electronica to swirly Hammond-powered swing.
