Charlie McKerron plus support

£15Renowned fiddle player and award winning composer, Charlie McKerron, presents an evening of traditional music spotlighting some of Moray’s finest music makers.
Long time member of the million selling Gaelic super group Capercaillie, Charlie has written music for film and documentary and contributed to the sound track for Hollywood Blockbuster “Rob Roy”. He received two Royal Television Society awards for co-writing the music for BBC2 Scotland drama series “Gruth is Uachdar (Crowdie and Cream)” and more recently composed the sound track for Scottish film “Zip n’ Zoo” starring John Hannah.
Tonight, Charlie takes the stage with his house band, comprising musical luminaries of Scotland’s traditional music scene; Marc Clement, Tim Edey and Ross Ainslie. Also on the set list, Moray Music Makers, featuring celebrated Scottish fiddler Douglas Lawrence, James Alexander, the hugely entertaining Fochabers Fiddlers, the Americana influenced Macaskill Brothers, and featuring Calum Stewart and Heikki Bourgault coming together to perform a unique set-list commissioned especially for the Festival.
