Crieff Folk Club presents Wendy Weatherby

Wendy Weatherby is a cellist, singer and composer from Edinburgh. After graduating from The Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama in 1983, she
embarked on a career involving performing and teaching, singing and playing in both traditional Scottish and Jazz bands.

Although a classically trained cellist, she has taught and performed in many musical styles, including singing trad jazz, and touring Europe and the USA with Mike Hart (the founder of the Edinburgh International Jazz Festival), and singing Burns songs on the acclaimed Linn Records The Complete Songs of Robert Burns.
