Sonny Carntyne began as a solo acoustic project in 2011 when songwriter Dominic Venditozzi started work on some solo recordings with Jamie Rose (Reeds). Now, in 2015, this four-piece has a new fleshed out sound with an emphasis on dynamic drumming – inspired by The Walkmen, The National, Mark Kozelek and Jim O’Rourke – yet firmly grounded in Fife.”
