Fable is a show about belonging, about being immortal and about planting trees for the folks who come after us. Fable is a show about caring, for us and our landscape and the places and spaces we fit in to. Fable is a show about caring and about listening and about wanting the big things in life.

Wound from their unique blend of poetical storytelling and soaring live music, The Flanagan Collective tell a tale inspired by landscape of the Highlands and Islands Scotland. On the end of a road in Ardfern, just a where a broken pier drops in to the sea, J has just burst in to a million pieces – her atoms unknitting themselves and floating out across the vast forever of space. Blair stands, a pint of Guinness in one hand and a glass of white wine in the other, looking out in to the stars. J has always wanted to be an astronaut, looking back from outer space at our pale blue dot of a planet. Blair has always wanted to build log cabins, right where the tree has fallen.
