Fiona Hunter is one of Scotland’s foremost traditional singers. Recent career highlights include a solo showcase with her band at the prestigious Womex in Cardiff and performing as part of Greg Lawson’s five star reinterpretation of Martyn Bennett’s Grit at Celtic Connections 2015.
Inspired by a sea voyage around Scotland’s West coast – a route sailed by author Neil Gunn in 1937 – award-winning musician/composer Mike Vass’s new work integrates traditional, classical and electronic elements with film, photography and spoken-word.
