Jacob’s Heep

The first originals project from long-standing Edinburgh funk trombonist Matthew Hawke, Jacob’s Heep is an all-new beast on the thriving Edinburgh funk scene.

Consisting of a whole bunch of regular faces at the The Jazz Bar, Edinburgh’s world-renowned jazz and funk club, the band is not short on talent. With representatives from Orkestra del Sol, Horndog Brass Band, The Federation of the Disco Pimp, Thunkfish, The Katet and Glamour and the Baybes amongst them, there’s a lot of licks and grooves to be had.This band is sure to get you on your feet and in the mood for a boogie.

The band consists of Magnum Hawke on the trombone, Chuck Dearness on the trumpet, Tom Pickles on the alto sax, Jonny White on the tenor sax, Dave Wallace on guitar and Scott Jamieson on drums.

This night is sure to be full of fun and a whole lot of fireworks!!
