CANCELLED – Purcell: Songs & Ayres

Soprano Mhairi Lawson joins the Dunedin Consort for an intimate programme of music from the composer Henry Purcell. With his flair for drama and extraordinary gift for bringing words to life, Purcell poured many of his most creative ideas into his songs — each of them miniature masterpieces. They are paired here with some of his most exquisite and intricately wrought instrumental works, shining examples of Baroque music at its most eloquent.

Tickets are also available in the Phoenix Stores (you need to go in person) usually two or three weeks before each event (no booking fee). Phoenix Stores is located just inside the entrance to the Findhorn Foundation ecovillage (the address is: The Park, Findhorn, Forres IV36 3TZ)
