The Bubblyjock Collective – QUINES

The Bubblyjock Collective present ‘QUINES’, a brand-new programme celebrating female Scottish composers and neglected women from Scottish history.

It showcases works by Marie Dare, Isobel Dunlop, Claire Liddell and Helen Hopekirk, as well as a new song-cycle written for the ensemble by Lisa Robertson. This new cycle sets texts by acclaimed poet Gerda Stevenson, sung in the voices of 5 incredible women from Scottish history.
