The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari

21 November, 2014 @ 8:00 pm

£10

An evening with a difference: a famous and ground-breaking silent film The Cabinet of Doctor Caligari projected on our big screen complete with a live accompaniment from award winning guitarist and composer Graeme Stephen. The Cabinet of Dr Caligari is the newly-restored German expressionist masterpiece from 1920 directed by Robert Wiene. To provide the live music, Graeme will be backed by his brilliant and talented jazz trio comprising Martin Kershaw, Saxophone; Mario Caribe, Bass; and Tom Bancroft, Drums. Graeme won the Innovation Award for his Score to the classic Silent film Sunrise and Instrumentalist of the Year award at the Scottish jazz awards.

“Graeme Stephen again underlined the qualities that make him a player on the international jazz stage with his latest project, in which he created the soundtrack to a silent movie.” The Herald
