The Wiyos

Now back to their acoustic roots, The Wiyos, Americana band from Brooklyn, have played Celtic Connections and Shetland Folk Festivals and appeared at The Barbican Theatre in London with Seasick Steve in an American roots music show that the BBC televised. Renowned as one of the most entertaining bands on the circuit, Bob Dylan invited them to open the show when he went out on a tour of US baseball stadiums. Seasick Steve’s a fan and encourages everyone to“be in for a surprise”when they see the band perform live.
