Kilchrenan Village Hall: A New Stage
We’re delighted to welcome Kilchrenan Village Hall as recent members of The Touring Network — and even more excited to be supporting their first fully professional show.
On Saturday 7 February, Kilchrenan will host touring artists ANEMARA and Finlay Wells, marking a new step for live performance in the Avich and Kilchrenan area. From artist connections to funding and promotion, we’re proud to have supported the hall in making this event happen.
It’s fantastic to hear from Rhona at Kilchrenan Village Hall about how staging remarkable performances helps rural communities and their cultural spaces thrive.
Commenting on her experiences, Rhona said:
“We joined The Touring Network in late 2025 as we began to build a more ambitious, year-round cultural programme for the Avich and Kilchrenan area — with the aim of attracting internationally renowned artists that a small, rural community usually can’t access or afford.
“The Touring Network has been invaluable in making our first fully professional show happen — from connecting us with Anemara to providing vital funding and promotional support.
“We hope this marks the start of bringing professional performers to our community, placing touring artists alongside the exceptional local talent our area is blessed with, and establishing Kilchrenan Village Hall as a lively, welcoming cultural venue.
“We’re very excited and a little nervous. It’s a real honour to be hosting touring artists of this calibre in our village hall. It feels like the beginning of something special for Avich and Kilchrenan, and we can’t wait to welcome Anemara, Finlay and our audience.”
