An Tobar is a multi-art form creative hub comprised of a small scale music venue, gallery and award winning cafe.

A converted Victorian schoolhouse, An Tobar is in the heart of Tobermory, at the top of the steepest street in Scotland and overlooking the breathtaking views of Tobermory bay.

For more than two decades, An Tobar has been a key venue in the Scottish and trad music scene, punching well above its weight in terms of cultural impact and winning Venue of the Year in 2020.

Our characterful performance room features a well-equipped lighting rig, sound system, sprung wooden floor and baby grand piano while our Green Room boasts one of the best views in Scotland.
