Arran Theatre & Arts Trust

Based in North Ayrshire

Arran Theatre and Arts Trust aims, in partnership with other organisations on the island, to foster the visual, literary and performing arts on Arran.  

We are keen to programme work which offers workshops for emerging artists on the island, and for schools. We are open to a wide range of topics and specialisms. We are keen to encourage more young people to engage with the arts, and want to programme work which will help us do so. We want to develop relationships between performers and the community. We’d like to work with artists in residence on the island to develop new work informed by Arran. We are open to working with artists outdoors, street theatre and promenade experiences.

Arran Theatre and Arts Trust is an umbrella organisation for Arran Open Studios, Arran Arts Resource, Arts Forward, Arran On Film, Music Arran and the McLellan Arts Festival. 

Our focus is island wide with community hall venues around the island. We have one main theatre in Lamlash.
