ChokKa are a 3-piece live original band consisting of electronic drums, keyboards/bass and electric lead guitar. We bridge the gap between a live band, the hedonism of the dancefloor and the visual fun of a rave. ChokKa bring the fun and inclusivity of old skool dancefloor music alive with crazy visuals and a live band. ChokKa aim to create the sounds, vibe, look and atmosphere of a underground festival dancefloor or a rave.

Coming from the west coast of Scotland we’ve had plenty of experience playing in unusual places, from front rooms to distilleries. Now we’re taking our joyful musical and dancing experience around the country. We’re looking for unusual musical opportunities with lovely people in interesting places. Get in touch!

ChokKa have been gigging and playing for three years but Cally, Ru & Tom have previously played together for five years in a soul and funk band. We just decided to stop playing songs and start writing for the dancefloor!
