Championing the ethos “Scottish folk theatre for Scottish folk now,” Flagstone co-creates with communities to reimagine traditional stories through bold, contemporary staging. Driven by a deep interest in people and place, the company is particularly drawn to the unsung heroes who live on the margins of history, revealing the human heart within Scotland’s folk traditions and giving new voice to overlooked lives.
