Fox and Hound Theatre is a Disabled and Neurodiverse led company, formed in the autumn of 2015 by Helen Fox and Codge Crawford.

We formed in order, to produce classic work which is rarely seen as well as new work written by the company.

Coming from a rural area we are very aware of the cost involved in accessing quality theatre and we think that the arts should be for all, so although we will tour anywhere, we have a passion for less central areas.

We undertake a variety of productions: New Writing, Comedy, Musical, Stand-up and Sketch, Site Specific, Art,
Realism and Issue based. We have performed all over the UK, including Edinburgh and Brighton Fringes. Helen was shortlisted for the Best New Play at Ed Fringe 2016 for I’m Missing You. They also achieved a Sell Out Show for 27 Wagons Full of Cotton. We were last there in 2019 when we performed ‘Hindsight’ by Jill Franklin, for which we were awarded The Derek Award for Best Drama. We also have an amateur youth and community group who have undertaken projects such a Page to Stage, Musicals and Mini Schools Tour.
