Haystack Monolith is Mark Urban (guitar and voice) and Seth Bennett (double bass) are to be found by the banks of the River Tay.
Their songs draw from the natural world, everyday experiences and from the overlooked to the fantastical. With inspiration from Ivor Cutler to Public Enemy they create worlds where the imagination can roam free. They have a unique approach to performance that plays with structure and improvisation. Haystack Monolith brings an exploratory spirit to every show, creating experiences that are intimate, playful and celebratory.
