Inés Álvarez Villa tells stories that live between worlds: traditional tales from Spain and Scotland, legends rooted in landscape, and narratives of her own creation. Born in northern Spain and based in Edinburgh since 2004, training in the craft of storytelling through the Scottish Storytelling Forum Apprenticeship..
Her performances are characterized by physical expressiveness, atmospheric warmth, and an ability to shift seamlessly between the humorous and the haunting. Inés creates intimate spaces where stories come alive and audiences become active participants in the telling, whether in theaters, festivals, or gathered close in smaller venues.
