Music

Lever harpist Lucie Hendry exists in a space where tradition and musical curiosity intertwine with nature’s rich palette of colours and textures. Rooted in the Scottish folk tradition and shaped by the Nordic music scene, her music traces an organic and evolving journey.

Lucie is set to release her second album, Ashes to Art, in 2026. Her music is a distinctive blend of original folk infused with contemporary jazz influences, creating a sound shaped by her experiences of the past few years.

Following the success of her debut solo album, Land of Eden - released in 2023 and receiving national airplay in the UK - Lucie has performed at major festivals including Celtic Connections, Stonehaven Folk Festival, Copenhagen and Aarhus Jazz Festival.

A finalist in BBC Radio Scotland’s Young Traditional Musician of the Year 2021, Lucie was also nominated for Up and Coming Artist of the Year at the 2023 Scots Trad Music Awards. Lucie Hendry is carving out a distinctive artistic voice — one rooted in tradition, yet continually reaching toward new creative horizons.
