Lyth Arts Centre

Lyth Arts Centre is the UK’s most northerly mainland arts centre in Caithness, Scotland.

Established in 1977, LAC is a multi-arts centre presenting a year-round programme of live performances. From some of the most exciting small-scale touring companies in Scotland to internationally acclaimed artists, the programme includes theatre, dance, family events, jazz, folk, classical, world music, and much more. 

Lyth Arts Centre also presents performances in village halls and community centres across Caithness and North Sutherland.

The venue is fully accessible with ample parking, baby changing facilities and a small cafe/bar stocked with local produce like Caithness Coffee, Rock Rose Gin, John O’Groats Brewery ales, Capaldi’s ice cream and locally made home baking.
