When playing, we look for playfulness in others, listen to creative impulses in ourselves, and have FUN! My work is based upon Play.
I've performed with David Glass Ensemble, Complicite, Commotion, Clown Selvaggio. I moved to Scotland 2021.
I founded Shifting Sands to create Clown theatre that is both comic and moving, touring nine shows nationally including Scotland, all ACE funded, including GREAT EXPECTATIONS, ARABIAN NIGHTS, KING LEAR, with rural touring central including two tours with NEAT.

I've devised many community projects. In Derbyshire I helped establish THE MARDITARTS, an all-female, community theatre company, devising THE STUFF OF LIFE, which toured locally.
In Nottinghamshire, I devised THE MAGNIFICENT MAPLEBECK CAPER, using village history and participants own stories, and FAUSTUS -THE CONTRACT, which toured local summer festivals.
Shifting Sands' previous show, THE MADNESS OF LOVE, supported by NEAT, was preceded by workshops. Participants performed in our show. They were terrific. More workshops resulted, participants wanting their own show. ROMEO & JULIET will be the result - Show dates: Nairn May 2nd, 3rd 2026 - a playful, irreverent adaptation of the star crossed lovers, but not a spoof or parody.
