Birds of Paradise Young Artists – Theatre Makers (Deadline 17 May)
BOP Young Artists (Theatre-Makers) will see up to 12 D/deaf, Disabled and/or Neurodivergent young creatives aged 18-25 work together (with support from highly experienced BOP staff) to devise, create and stage an exciting new piece of theatre with accessibility creatively embedded into the production. anam creative: (in)dustry project (Deadline 3 June)
(in)dustry is a nine-month remote project from anam creative that will support five young creatives aged 18-25 (or up to 30 if d/Deaf, neurodivergent or Disabled) from underrepresented backgrounds, based in Scotland but living outside of the central belt (Glasgow & Edinburgh). This project will support participants to develop sustainable businesses and freelance practices within the music industries. This can include, but is not limited to, areas such as design, videography, photography, music management, promotion, events, booking, running a record label, live sound, and not-for-profit work. Manipulate Arts Creative Fund (Deadline 4 June)
Supports Scotland‑based artists developing new work in visual performance, puppetry and object theatre. It offers seed funding, rehearsal space and mentorship to help artists explore early‑stage ideas and take a meaningful step forward in their practice. Find out more.

Traditional Arts and Culture Fund (Deadline for round 2: 11 May)
Applications to the Traditional Arts and Culture Fund are welcome from both organisations and individuals. The fund is designed to support traditional artists and organisations to create, perform, tour, and showcase work, as well as to develop professional skills and learning opportunities. Imaginate Go and See Fund (Rolling)
The Go & See Fund is open all year, covering the costs of show tickets for freelancers based in Scotland working in the young audiences sector. The Go & See Fund is open to all freelancers involved in making things happen in the theatre and dance for young audiences sector in Scotland including performance makers, production staff, composers, designers and producers. Events and Courses
The Standards PLUS course: Excelling at being inclusive: Starts 5 May
Run by the Family Arts Campaign, this is a new family-friendly and age-friendly online training course. The course is designed to support you to excel at meeting the national accreditations for family-friendliness and age-friendliness in arts provisions. You can take both modules, or choose to focus on excelling at being family-friendly or age-friendly. Course begins on 5 May. Find out more.
