Summer Social: Under Canvas

Summer is the perfect time to come together, catch up with colleagues and enjoy great live performance – and we’d love you to join us for this year’s Touring Network Summer Social.

Taking place on 22 July at Under Canvas at Eden Court Theatre, Inverness, the afternoon is an opportunity to connect with fellow members, learn and share ideas, enjoy some food together and go see some great music.

14.00: Arrival, refreshments, networking

Meet fellow Touring Network members.

14.30: Youth engagement workshop with Drew Tremlett

Hosted by Drew Tremlett, Engagement Producer in Film at Eden Court Theatre, this informal workshop will explore practical approaches to engaging young people with the arts. Drew will share his experience, and there will be plenty of opportunity to exchange ideas and hear about approaches from across the network. Whether you’d like to contribute or simply listen, everyone is welcome.

15.30: Networking

Continue the conversation with fellow members.

16.15: Under Canvas Go See and food trucks

We’ll head into the festival together to enjoy performances from Matt Tighe + Luc McNally and Old Blind Dogs. This is also our chance to enjoy a meal at the local street food trucks along the River Ness that form part of the Highland Food and Drink Trail.
