As 2018 comes to a close, we’ve been reflecting on what has been a big year for The Touring Network. We’ve celebrated 20 years of the Network via our Epic Stage Story Campaign, hosted a special edition of The Gathering in September (in partnership with Findhorn Bay Arts Festival), launched our Performer Membership and BRAW project and completed the second year of our youth promoter programme GET IN. And on top of all of this, we have continued our support for our members through individual support packages and a variety of resources.
Despite difficult funding contexts our members are continuing to find ways to forge ahead. We’re continually looking at what we offer to ensure we can give support where it’s most needed, and in the next financial year we hope to focus a few more resources on those who are finding things a little tougher than others.
We’ll be taking our Christmas break from 5pm Friday 21st December, returning to the office on 7th January. So, the team would like to take this opportunity to thank all our members for their continued contribution to the cultural life of the Highlands and Islands and look forward to another exciting year in 2019.
