An evening inspired by Sorley Maclean

£5Enjoy an evening of music, song, words, poetry and visuals on the 29th October. Featuring a solo Gaelic performance by renowned singer, Arthur Cormack and fantastic fiddling by Breakish’s Ronan Martin who will be playing his ‘Raasay Suite’ of tunes. Kenneth Steven from Dunkeld, who is one of Scotland’s top poets will be reading some of his poetry and also his BBC Radio 3 broadcast about Raasay. Visuals on the evening will be provided by Alastair Jackson, who is originally from Dunvegan.
There will also be an opportunity to view the exhibition, An Roghainn/The Choice, by Alastair Jackson and Kenneth Steven.
A dram of fine whisky courtesy of RB Distillers, who are setting up on Raasay, will be provided to all attending the evening.
