Nairn Book and Arts Festival: The Cheery Groove Showcase

1 September, 2016 @ 8:30 pm

£14

Cheery Groove is the home of Scottish singer songwriter Findlay Napier and his wife, singer and fiddle player, Gillian Frame.

In this Showcase they are joined by other artists in the Cheery Groove stable including English folk music legend Chris Sherburn, and support from a stellar band featuring Anna Massie (guitar/banjo/mandolin), Hamish Napier (piano), Euan Burton (bass), Tia Files (guitar) and Iain Sloan (pedal steel/telecaster).

You’ll hear an evening of great stories and craic and the best of traditional and contemporary music and song, including material from Two Men on a Boat, Pendulum, and Very Interesting Persons (#2 in The Telegraph’s Top Folk Albums of 2015).  Don’t miss it!

There are tickets remaining for this event – although the online purchase system is closed for this event, there are still tickets for sale at Nairn Community and Arts Centre (01667 453476).
