The Flanagan Collective was set up by Alexander Wright as a cross-genre arts collective with the intention of being a professional and accessible collective which encourages collaboration between companies, artists and institutions. It looks to build and create a truly contemporary model for innovating and sustaining art in the 21st century.
Our current plans focus around the performing arts as this is where the collective’s current members main interests and expertise lie. However over time we hope to expand our models, outputs and collaborations to embrace all art forms and, as such, we actively seek and welcome interests on these fronts.
Our focus for The Flanagan Collective currently falls in to three main areas:
Community
Storytelling
New opportunities
As a new collective and organisation, we are keen to find like minded artists to work with, develop and collaborate. Our aims are big, but the roots of these aims are local, small and achievable. If you like the sound of what we are doing, then please do get in touch, we probably want to work with you.
